EATING MUSHROOMS

Do you want to find your own edible mushrooms? Immersion in nature to eat mold can be a fun journey - but to be safe and successful it is important that you educate yourself first and consult a local specialist. Go with the guide (ask if they offer a special mushroom tour or know Stanley Park Coyotes who does it) or do a mushroom identification course (if in doubt, discard it!).

Be aware of your surroundings and look for mushrooms only in authorized public places. Follow our Sacrifice Checklist before you head out to Oregon.
