The Nevada Mortgage Lenders Association (NMLA) is a non-profit trade association whose members are mortgage bankers and lenders in the State of Nevada. NMLA was founded in 1971 to provide a forum for discussion, education, and promotion of the mortgage banking industry in Nevada.

For instance, NMLA provides its members with access to industry leading publications, educational seminars, networking events, and other educational opportunities.

History

The Nevada Mortgage Lenders Association was founded in 1971 by a group of mortgage bankers and lenders who were frustrated by the lack of representation in the mortgage industry. In 1971, NMLA was a coalition of nine mortgage bankers and lenders, and was formed to advocate for the industry and to promote the mortgage banking industry in Nevada.
